ISA Yachts Launches New Granturismo 45m ARIA SF

By Heather Collier

Italian builder ISA Yachts has announced the launch of a new 45m superyacht ARIA SF in its Gran Turismo series. The series is comprised of vessels with sharp and sporty exterior lines, marked by a plumb bow, with side arches connecting the three decks – a signature of the shipyard that has become a hallmark of the past two decades, along with a fin-shaped hard top, creating a sophisticated, sleek look to each profile.

The vessel first touched the water at an extravagant launch ceremony held at ISA Yachts' Ancona facility in Italy, marking a major construction milestone for the shipyard.

"A heartfelt thanks to the Owner who actively participated in the construction of this new model. The launch of ISA GT 45 emphasizes an extremely active time of our company. The Ancona shipyard is operating at full capacity with all its slots booked, which is why we have diverted to our Savona production site the construction of two other self-financed boats”, comments Giuseppe Palumbo, Sole Director of Palumbo Superyachts.

This tri-deck vessel has a steel hull and aluminum superstructure developed by Palumbo Superyachts' technical team, with a sleek exterior profile penned by Team For Design's Enrico Gobbi, and a stunning interior decor dreamt up by Luca Dini Design & Architecture.

Although many details are still under wraps, the interior of Aria SF design is said to be a nod to racing and automobiles. In terms of performance, she can reach a maximum speed of 15.5 knots, and will be able to cover 4,373-mile distances at 12 knots thanks to the two CAT C32 ACERT engines of 1318hp/970kW each.

Aria SF can accommodate up to 10 guests across 5 large elegant cabins, including two VIP staterooms, two twin cabins, and a master's suite sitting forward on the main deck. Sea, light and air are the main components of any space on board, complemented by technical, functional and minimal elements with a strong reference to cars, speed and primary colours.

Luca Dini collaborated closely with the owner, who was heavily involved in many aspects of the yacht's design and overall development, with a desire to enhance the vessel with "innovation and technology". With airy, open spaces filled with natural light, Dini's interior seamlessly blends into the exterior; mirroring the outer masculine, yet elegant appearance.

With more elements to be revealed, Aria SF is set to have her official debut on the world stage at the 2022 Cannes and Monaco boat shows later this year.
