By Frances Flannagan

IYC has announced the sale of 141’6” Cantiere delle Marche (CdM) Project 2212, marking the second new-build sale with the Italian yard in 2024. The brokerage is committed to turning dreams into a reality, highlighted by this yacht as she is set to meet her Owner's aspirations of global exploration.

141’6” Project 2212 is a 43m motor yacht from CdM's brand new Deep Blue 43m range. A sistership to the award-winning ACALA, she features exterior design by Horacio Bozzo and interior design penned by Vickers Studio.

Richard Gray, Head of Sales UK at IYC, who represented the Buyer commented: ‘Having previously owned multiple production yachts, the client's aspiration to circumnavigate the globe is met seamlessly by the unparalleled capabilities of CdM, who provide an optimal platform for such an ambitious endeavor. We are thrilled to be able to bring the client's dream to life through the customisation and visionary craftsmanship synonymous with Cantiere delle Marche.’

The Deep Blue line is characterised by a modern and sophisticated design, seamlessly bridging the gap between the timeless lines of a luxury vessel and the rugged nature of an explorer yacht. Meeting the Owner’s desires for an oceangoing vessel, she boasts an impressive 4,000+ nm range, highlighting her capabilities for unmatched global exploration.

John Vickers, Founder of Vickers Design Studio, commented: ‘This is Vickers Studios' first full project with CdM, and we could not be more proud to start the interior design work for the second of these Deep Blue 43m world cruising yachts…Our interior design will highlight the owner's lifelong passion for yachting and world travels in an authentic architectural style. The hugely experienced owner is driving the process of creating what will be a superb addition to the CDM fleet.’

The completion of this sale marks the second successful transaction of 2024 for IYC’s UK team: a testament to the brokerage’s dedication and collaborative spirit. IYC is committed to growth, with the launch of a new office on Conduit Street in Mayfair, London acting as a pivotal milestone for the company. This expansion is set to not only enhance the geographical reach of IYC’s services but also introduces a more personable approach tailored to each individual client.

Carlo Aquilanti, Head of Sales at CdM, commented: ‘We didn’t become the world leaders in the construction of explorer yachts by chance or for a stroke of luck. This achievement is not merely an occurrence; rather, it is the manifestation of our relentless commitment, a journey that proceeds propelled by our unwavering determination to build the most reliable vessels possible, and by our will to adhere to our strategic course. Our incredibly successful partnership with IYC is a strong testament to that.’
