IYR Announces Sale of Ex-Formula 1 Star's 25m Yacht JURIK

By Jenna Mehdi

International Yacht Register (IYR) has announced the sale of 25m Canados 80S luxury yacht JURIK in an in-house deal. Delivered in 2003 under the name FIZZY to legendary racing car driver Giancarlo Fisichella, JURIK is a pedigree Italian high-performance yacht with planing hull.

Extensively refitted in 2014 and 2016 to the highest spec, JURIK sports a timeless exterior with plenty of space for outdoor living. Comfortably accommodating ten guests in four staterooms, comprising one master, one VIP, two twin and two pullman, JURIK also houses three crew members onboard.

JURIK’s sale is tinged with the celebrity of her first owner, an award-winning Formula One racing driver for Ferrari amongst other notable names. Befitting Giancarlo’s high-octane lifestyle, JURIK has a top speed of 24 knots and cruising speed of 18 knots.

Despite this, the yacht houses guests onboard in ultimate comfort and style. On the market for just under a year, Emma Karanova represented both the Seller and Buyer in the in-house deal. JURIK was listed at a last-known asking price of €700,000.

Part of the SOVREN Group, IYR boasts an impressive sales fleet with numerous unique brokerage opportunities and competitive prices.

One such opportunity includes 44m Heesen superyacht SAN BERNARDO, who will be exhibited in all of her glory at the Palma Superyacht Show as it kicks off today.

SAN BERNARDO is the largest motor yacht exhibiting at the show, and the second largest yacht in attendance after 50m sailing yacht BORKUMRIFF IV.

With a price tag of €14,350,000, SAN BERNARDO is the best priced Heesen on the market today and reduced from her original €16,950,000 valuation.

Interested buyers or brokers will be invited to attend an exclusive champagne tasting hosted by IYR on the evening of Friday 4th June.
