LADY ESTEY: Benetti’s 67-Metre Study in Personal Vision

By Nora Hart

A new 67-metre presence has taken to the water as LADY ESTEY quietly but confidently signals Benetti’s latest direction in bespoke yachtbuilding. Part of the B.Now family yet deeply individual in execution, she is the result of a design process in which the owner’s preferences shaped not just the décor, but the very architecture of the yacht.

Built in steel and aluminium, LADY ESTEY carries exterior lines by RWD and interiors by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, two studios whose collaboration with Benetti has produced a vessel that feels deliberate, coherent, and far from formulaic. The brief was clear: retain the fluid, inside-outside lifestyle for which the B.Now 67M is known, but reinterpret the concept with a richer, darker palette and a more sculptural approach to space.

The interior delivers on that ambition. Woods such as macassar, ziricote, sycamore and ebony are paired with high-gloss finishes and carefully sourced marbles, creating a style that acknowledges the owner’s fondness for a modern, moody twist on Gatsby glamour, without slipping into pastiche. The custom staircase, carved in marble with a glass balustrade, acts as the yacht’s central artwork and subtly shifts from darker tones in the guest areas to lighter stone in the stair column. It’s thoughtful rather than showy, and emblematic of the project’s overall restraint.

Guest accommodation includes six cabins designed to the same standard as the owner’s suite, a point specifically requested in the brief, while the owner enjoys an entirely private upper deck with lounge, office and outdoor spaces that are intentionally disconnected from guest circulation. Details such as widened corridors, re-engineered fire doors, and the inclusion of a rectangular lift show how deeply the owner’s requirements were integrated into the build.

Outdoor spaces retain the ease of the Oasis Deck while adding personal touches: a redesigned infinity pool aft, a reflecting pool with waterfall on the owner’s deck, and a spa pool tucked discreetly into the observation deck. On the lower deck, a full wellness centre, gym, sauna, steam room and treatment room, sits alongside technical spaces arranged with similar care.

With a range of 4,500 nautical miles at 12 knots and a gross tonnage of 1,300 GT, LADY ESTEY is built as much for extended passages as for quiet days at anchor. Twin Caterpillar engines and Naiad stabilisers support a measured, capable performance profile.

What sets LADY ESTEY apart is not a single feature, but the cumulative effect of hundreds of considered decisions. She is a yacht shaped by collaboration between owner, designers and shipyard, and the result feels grounded, intentional and unmistakably personal.
