Looking Ahead to the Genoa Boat Show

The Genoa Boat Show returns for its 60th edition from 1st to 6th October with an array of exciting new superyachts on display. The return to show action in a safe manner is certainly welcome with so many events delayed until next year, and offers a chance to professionals and yachting enthusiasts to once again mingle and view the latest innovative products on the market once again.

Spread out across a 200,00sqm display area on both land and sea, the Genoa Boat Show promises to celebrate phenomenal yacht designs and facilitate meaningful business interactions between exhibitors and visitors. The Show prides itself on its new multi-specialised format which fuses “4 Boat Shows in 1” with in-depth vertical support chains that enable one-to-one relationships with every exhibitor and visitor. The expansive Show space includes a TechTrade Fair, individual boat shows for sailing boats and outboard motorboats, as well as a large Yacht and Superyacht Show.

Visitors will be treated to an array of exciting new superyachts making an appearance at the Show. The headline superyacht and flagship of the show is Benetti’s 40m Oasis, which will be presented in Genoa following a last-minute decision from the Italian shipyard. This revolutionary yacht features exterior design by RWD and interiors penned by Benetti and New York-based studio Kozerski Architecture. Oasis seamlessly combines sublime onboard lifestyle with a sophisticated with a sophisticated profile and glamorous interior styling.

Azimut Yachts, the other half of the esteemed Azimut-Benetti Group, will be presenting the Magellano 25 Metri for the first time. This exquisite 25m superyacht is the fruit o a collaboration between the Italian shipyard and architect Vincenzo De Cotiis, with renowned designer Ken Freivokh penning the exterior lines to complement the De Cotiis interiors.

Elsewhere, Gulf Craft will be attending the Genoa Boat Show with its new Italian dealer, Media Ship. The recently delivered Majesty 100 M/Y Isla will be on display for the first time at a public show. The Majesty 100 superyacht has been a phenomenal success internationally for Gulf Craft, with deliveries made to Europe, Australia, Middle East, Africa and America. Visitors will be able to see first-hand the extreme levels of onboard luxury as they tour M/Y Isla, which was a first-time buy for an experienced charterer.

There will also be a strong presence from Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo, completing a wealth of ‘Made in Italy’ superyachts to explore at the Genoa Boat Show. Among the Sanlorenzo yachts on display will be the SL102A, SL106, SD126 and SX112. It has proven to be a successful year for Sanlorenzo, especially in the Asian market where recent sales of an SL96 Asymmetric and SL102 Asymmetric have reinforced the strength of the brand internationally. The SL102A will be available for viewings in Genoa, and its unique layout and opulent guest spaces will inspire plenty of awe.  

It is fantastic to see the Genoa Boat Show going ahead, and with these magnificent superyachts all on display there is plenty for visitors to admire.
