Lürssen Delivers 115m AHPO (Formerly Project Enzo)

By Jenna Mehdi

Formerly known as Project Enzo, 115m AHPO has officially been delivered to her new owner by Lürssen. Designed inside and out by Nuvolari Lenard, the impressive project is confirmed to have been built for a repeat client who previously built an 86m / 282ft yacht with the yard.

Moran Yacht & Ship managed and supervised the project from the beginning, using its vast experience in the large superyacht build sector to guide this project expertly to delivery. AHPO is the second 100m+ project to benefit from an all-Nuvolari Lenard design and project management by Moran Yacht & Ship, after the delivery of the iconic 142m NORD last year.

Peter Lürssen comments: “The owner’s brief was demanding. However, we believe our engineering expertise has surpassed his wishes to own a yacht that many years from now will be timeless and yet still ahead of its time. Our thanks, of course, go to the good design and communications with the designers Nuvolari-Lenard and to Moran Yacht & Ship, who oversaw the build on behalf of the owner, as well as the Lürssen project team.”

As is typical of a Lürssen new build, AHPO is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and engineering systems. A heat recovery system has been fitted in the generators, while dynamic positioning enables electronic anchoring in remote areas. AHPO is an excellent example of how Lürssen is seeking to establish more environmentally conscious credentials as standard in its new deliveries.
