Lürssen’s Third Delivery of 2026: 117m BOARDWALK Departs Yard
Lürssen has released the 117-metre superyacht BOARDWALK (Project 13797) from its facilities. The yacht departed the yard on 14 May and is now en route to Gibraltar, from where she is expected to continue to the Mediterranean for the upcoming summer season.
Commissioned in 2022 by an American owner, BOARDWALK is a highly personalised project. The owner was closely involved throughout the design process, with particular attention paid to structural and spatial details. Exterior lines are by Frank Woll, while the interiors were created through a collaboration between the late Amy Halffman, Suzanne Glover and Teresa Francis.
At 5,602 gross tonnes, the yacht features a classical profile with sculpted bulwarks. Her interior is defined by high-gloss burled mahogany, polished stainless steel and complex double-convex forms, with a strong emphasis on natural light and a sense of fluid movement.
Designed as a family retreat, BOARDWALK offers expansive deck spaces for entertainment, two helipads (one certified and positioned forward), a large swimming pool with adjoining Jacuzzi, and a spacious beach club. A technical highlight is the innovative retractable structural section above the stairwell to the beach club — understood to be a first for Lürssen — which creates a hermetically sealed, class-approved deck when closed.
The yacht also includes a substantial tender garage capable of housing three custom 12-metre Hodgdon tenders, an amphibious tender, and various land vehicles. Additional amenities include a cinema, putting green, spa and gym. Accommodation is provided across 11 cabins, featuring a forward VIP suite with private al fresco lounge and several guest cabins with direct access to wide side decks.
BOARDWALK is expected to make her first Mediterranean appearance this summer.
