Mylius M50 DAGUET 2 Sold by Bernard Gallay

By Frances Flannagan

Bernard Gallay Yacht Brokerage (BGYB) has recently sold DAGUET 2. A perfect cruising boat as well as an impressive racing vessel, DAGUET 2 is a sale not to go unnoticed.

DAGUET 2 is a Mylius M50 built in 2016. Youri Loof, a Sales and Charter Broker with BGYB since 2014, was in charge of the sale, in which DAGUET 2 was purchased for €795,000.

Perfect for comfortable cruising as well as being a fully equipped racing boat, DAGUET 2’s versatility is showcased. She was built in full carbon and optimised for both fast cruising and racing. She is fitted with the best electronic and mechanical equipment, sails and rigging to ensure she performs at the highest possible standard.

DAGUET 2 has a history of various successes within inshore and offshore races, notably achieving 1st place at the Voiles de St Tropez in 2020 and 2nd place at the Rolex Middle Sea Race in 2019. This makes her the perfect sale for Loof to have been in charge of; he himself has been Captain aboard some of the most prestigious yachts, both cruising as well as on the racing circuit, the Voiles de St Tropez being one of them. DAGUET 2’s impressive track record paves the way for many more titles in this category being achieved.

She has three cabins, showing how she is ideal for cruising with friends as well as racing, and has a shallow draft of 3.5m, meaning she can explore even the shallowest of waters.

Superyachts.com would like to congratulate BGYB on this sale and wish DAGUET 2 the best of luck in her future career as a cruiser, as well as a racer.
