MYS 2021: Fraser Yachts on Maintaining Momentum

By Freya Cottrell

We caught up with Raphael Sauleau, CEO of Fraser Yachts who discussed how the pandemic has reinforced the importance of a strong relationship between the company and its extensive client base, plus, what the future holds for the expansion for Fraser Yachting.

Continual client support has been a vital componant for Fraser Yachts during the upheaval of the last eighteen months, we were intrigued as to how the business kept up the driving momentum that provided clients with successful sales during the pandemic. "We said let's think out of the box a little bit and get our head out of the pandemic perspective." Raphael Sauleau commented. "Covid has been very terrible for many but it has also helped our team to go one step further in the way we market the boats and moreover, how we are perceived by the outside of yachting".

With one of the largest brokerage client bases within the superyacht industry, the CEO divulged what it is about Fraser Yachts that continues to attract so many potential and current yacht owners. "Yachting was a bit centric on itself and by having to reinvent ourselves - the way we conduct business, the way we advertise boats, the way difuse messages - we reached out to a new clientele."

Fraser Yachts global reach is now inclusive of 15 offices spread across four continents. With this in mind we were curious as to whether the company had the capacity to expand further; the CEO assured us that it was possible: "We are always looking for new places" shares the CEO. "We are always on the lookout for new emerging countries so like, Asia there are some spots we are looking at and potentially Middle East as well".

"Covid has been very terrible for many but it has also helped our team to go one step further in the way we market the boats and moreover, how we are perceived by the outside of yachting."
