MYS 2021: Luxury Expertise with Dahlgren Duck
Joined in the studio by the Managing Director of Dahlgren Duck, Alejandro Hahn, we discussed the history of the prestigious company plus the wealth of expertise that the luxury outfitters has to offer.
With private travel being an integral part of the business, Dahlgren Duck has witnessed an exponential growth in the importance of personal space whilst travelling over the previous eighteen months. Alejandro Hahn shared with us his thoughts regarding the current necessity for private travel. “I think that something this pandemic has taught us is not just how important travel is but how important safety is.” the Managing Director commented. “Being able to travel in a safe way and having their own space has increasingly become more and more important.”
Dahlgren Duck was founded in the United States forty years ago, since then their expertise has spanned the world of private travel, from aviation to superyachts. “Our founders Jim Dahlgren and Allan Duck started outfitting private aircrafts. And, I guess it is a natural move to yachts because most of our customers, those who had an aircraft will also have a yacht.”
With expertise across the luxury sector, Dahlgren Duck has the opportunity to work alongside some of the world’s top luxury brands. Alejandro shared with us what a partnership with Dahlgren Duck might look like: “We’re looking always for the best partners, for those who are the best at what they do. [...] We work with very demanding customers, so we need those who support our business, our services to have quality service.” Alejandro comments. “We want to make sure we have in our portfolio all these brands that allow us to be unique in the market”
With so much expertise spanning across the luxury sector, the future for Dahlgren Duck will surely be impressive: “We would like to keep growing in the market where we are.” the MD shared. “But most importantly we are going to keep investing in our technology platform.”
