MYS 2022: Carla Guilhem on Building Dreams for Clients

Carla Guilhem Design is a full-service interior architecture and interior design studio with over a decade of experience ranging from luxury residential and commercial to hospitality and yachting. 

“We’re trying to do bespoke projects whilst understanding all of the needs that the client has," says Guilhem.

Through a collaborative and creative process, the design house creates a one-of-a-kind blend through their client’s and Carla’s visions into an aesthetically beautiful design while responding to functional needs.

“We are building dreams. This is something that our client is looking for. Each client is so different, every dream is different. We are trying to build something together. We want the process to be an enjoyable experience.”

Custom, tri-deck explorer LADY LENE was one of Guilhem's major highlights of 2022. The project was collaborated on with a private client with particular requests; combining the expertise of four leading players from the Dutch superyacht sector to make the design a reality.

A true explorer yacht, she will provide the owners with the same level of comfort at sea that they are accustomed to enjoying at land. She boasts a timeless exterior paired with a luxurious yet familiar and cosy interior, creating a cosy, homely feel for those on board.
