MYS 2022: De Watère Talks Expanding into the B2B Market
On the third day of the 2022 Monaco Yacht Show, we welcomed Martin Konorza, the Owner of De Watère Champagne, to the interview studio to discover more about the luxury brand and its new and exciting developments, including its surge into the world of B2B.
Kicking off the interview with a ‘pop’ from De Watère’s top product, Prestige Brut Rosé de Saignée, the Owner of the luxury champagne brand, Martin Konorza, told us more about how De Watère came to life in 2011: ‘we started it out from my search for good quality because I never found anything that really measured up to the name of the ‘King of Wines’. So that's when I set out to create my own.’
With a successful track-record and popular status, Konorza explained how the brand is now looking far and wide in terms of its customer reach, announcing its launch into the B2B market. ‘We’ve always liked working with corporate customers,’ explained the Owner, ‘we’re looking forward to supplying people all over Europe and creating events with these corporate customers for their private customers as well.’
In cohesion with this new B2B focus, the luxury company has now created an easy-to-use online tool that works to aid those ordering the high-quality beverages. ‘We created an online portal specifically for B2B customers where they can take the guesswork out of ordering. The only constant in the yachting industry is change… and we can offer help with this with our new B2B portal.’
The exciting developments didn't stop there. The owner told us that De Watère is also partnering with a company to offer next-day delivery across all of Europe: 'we always search for the highest quality to offer our customers and we’re all fully aware that the customers deserve what they want, where they want it and when they want it.’
‘We’re going to have some very interesting product launches next year that we’ve been working on for 14 years now’, added Konorza. We for one are certainly looking forward to what will come next from the luxury champagne brand.
