MYS 2022: Marina Casa de Campo Reveals Luxury Developments at Casa de Campo Resort

By Emily Dawkins

On the third day of the yacht show, we were excited to welcome the Marketing Director of Marina Casa de Campo, Vilma Nuñez, to the interview studio, to discuss the exciting new additions that are currently underway at the resort, plus the recently launched Dominican Republican Marina Association and its role in welcoming superyachts to the island.

Renowned for its luxury facilities, incredible golf courses and beautiful private beaches, the stunning resort of Casa de Campo is only getting bigger. ‘There's going to be a new boutique hotel inside the resort,’ the Marketing Director commented, ‘there will be 58 new rooms, so very exclusive…we have very high profile customers, but this is going to be even higher.’

Due to open at the end of this year to its high-status clientele, Vilma Nuñez shared how the new hotel will also offer a premier club with magnificent spa facilities.

Unlike some of the other marinas around the Caribbean, Marina Casa de Campo provides not only an array of leading services for elite superyachts, but also a wide range of amenities and experiences to enjoy. ‘The marina has 350 slips for superyachts…and beside the marina, we have all the facilities that support the marina operation: it’s the whole experience’, shared the Marketing Director.

Offering 16 restaurants in total, with seven just around the marina, the Marketing Director revealed that a new Asian fusion restaurant is also on the way: ‘it's going to complete the culinary experience of Marina Casa de Campo.’

'We have the need for a strong sector, and we need to project an image of unity,’ commented Nuñez when asked about the recently launched Dominican Republican Marina Association and its benefits to the superyacht industry, ‘now we will have a presence in the boat shows and yacht shows…as the Dominican Republic. We need to place in the minds of our clients that the Dominican Republic is open and we are united as a sector.’

At this year’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show Marina Casa de Campo and the Dominican Republican Marina Association will be showcasing their Caribbean style. Visit their stands to find out more about this unmissable resort and marina.
