MYS 2022: Mayfair Marine's Expert Independent Advice
In the midst of the 2022 Monaco Yacht Show, Superyachts.com spoke with Howard Lowe, Managing Director at Mayfair Marine to discuss what makes their technical consultancy so unique.
Mayfair Marine is the independent technical consultancy for superyachts. Their business is focused on definitive, practical, proactive advice for owners, shipyards, managers, lawyers and designers.
"Our focus is on technical excellency. Primarily we are naval architects and engineers trying to give good, honest independent advice," says Lowe.
Having supervised the construction of yachts from 30 to 100 metres, Mayfair Marine's experience includes projects at many of Europe's most renowned shipyards.
"Being independent is important. We don't have a vested interest. We look at a project from the beginning from a blank sheet of paper and take it all the way to the end of its journey and beyond that. We work closely with owners with operational yachts, and understanding that full life cycle is really important. For us it's not just a job, it's something that me and my team are really passionate about."
