MYS 2023: Dahlgren Duck on Creating Beautifully Bespoke Projects

By Frances Flannagan

After two years, we welcomed Dahlgren Duck back to the Superyachts.com Interview Studio in Monaco. Providing beautifully bespoke pieces for private aviation and yachts, Managing Director Alejandro Hahn described the ways in which the company oversees the entire process.

Born in Dallas, Dahlgren Duck aims to provide unique pieces from Europe to the USA for private jets and yachts. By sourcing bespoke items, each project is therefore unique and tailored to the specific needs of the client. As Alejandro Hahn, Managing Director, articulated: ‘no two projects are the same.’

Seeing success within private jets and superyachts, Dahlgren Duck will ideally be a part of the entire real estate portfolio, providing unique pieces for properties as well as private travel. Repeat clients are what Hahn considers to be the best part of the business; he commented, ‘When a client [comes] back to you, and they want to replicate the thing you did on the boat, you did on the aircraft…that’s the best feeling ever.’

From the moment the brief is understood, to curating specific pieces, Dahlgren Duck takes care of the entire process, following suit to its dedication to creating bespoke projects in a unique way. Technology platforms also help to assist in this process; they help in understanding each unique element, and allow for the client to re-order and track their pieces.

‘It’s about not only supplying the project, or finishing the project, it’s also being with the client for the next few years…to make sure we are always with them and keep them up to date.’
