MYS 2023: Kensington Yachts on Creating a Seamless Process

Born out of Kensington Tours, Kensington Yachts is a charter yacht brokerage that was inspired by clients’ demands for chartering a yacht. The company focuses solely on yacht charters, elevating the whole experience through private touring and the curation of a special and unique package.

Edita Sgovio, Vice President, described the ways in which Kensington Yachts works with a client to create a fully-customised trip, from choosing the right yacht, to the execution of the charter. Sgovio noted that they have a lot of business from first time charters, which highlights the ways in which the company curates an experience:

‘We do have a lot of first time charters that have never chartered before, so really guiding them and consulting them through that process of what is the best yacht for them, what is the best destination for them, whether it’s a family trip, a couples trip, and then… we build the experiences.’

Kensington Yachts completes the entire planning process, creating a seamless process for clients. What sets the company apart from competitors is the on-land experiences that they also provide. Whilst strongest in the Mediterranean, the company has a global reach, interested in off-the-beaten-track destinations. This is another way in which Kensington Yachts lends itself to unique experiences, an example being submersible trips in beautiful destinations such as the Seychelles. 

A 100 percent bespoke business, Kensington Yachts creates charters that are entirely unique, a special and spectacular offering within the charter industry. ‘What really makes us unique is this elevated experience. It’s sort of a one-stop-shop in a way that marries all the pieces.’
