MYS 2023: Marina Casa de Campo Details Stunning Development of New Spa

By Frances Flannagan

Returning for the third time to the Superyachts.com Interview Studio in Monaco, we welcomed Jose Gonzalvo, General Director of Marina Casa de Campo, to discuss the exciting new developments taking place at the complex. From a stunning new spa to a food and wine festival, Marina Casa de Campo offers a plethora of exciting opportunities for superyacht owners.

Setting itself apart from other marinas, Marina Casa de Campo is in a complex, as General Director Jose Gonzalvo explained: ‘[We are a] 7000 acre complex that has everything on it. It’s a little city.’ The Marina was developed in 2001, and has since then been growing significantly, requiring an extension in 2005 due to high demand. Now, it is a marina with 350 slips for yachts up to 250ft.

A highly exciting development for the marina is the construction of a stunning new spa which Gonzalvo described as ‘something unbelievable.’ It is 18000 soiree feet of indoor and outdoor areas with incredible deluxe rooms on offer to guests.

Alongside the spa are other new projects set to enhance guest experience at the marina, including the remodelling of a restaurant as well as a new Japanese restaurant: ‘a knockout in the Marina.’ There is also a food and wine festival in the works, contributing to the plentiful opportunities offered by the marina.

Marina Casa de Campo is looking to form an association with three other of the most important marinas in the Dominican Republic, with the aim of attending boat shows collectively and with the support of the government.
