MYS 2023: Qualtron on Transforming Superyachts’ Outdoor Spaces

Torsten Steinbrecher, Founder and CEO of Qualtron, sat down with Shari Liu to discuss his company, a leading AV provider creating bespoke, sustainable AV solutions. Whilst serving the market on a B2B Basis, Steinbrecher commented:

‘We have closed the gap: instead of working just with the integrators, we are talking as well to the shipyards, to the designers and those guys. Because we believe that the earlier we are involved in the design process, the more the final client will benefit from the result.’

Qualtron provides the same quality picture-wise as a commercial cinema, going even further to allow clients to watch a movie before its official release date. Containing the same quality as a cinema just on a smaller scale, the services provided by Qualtron allow for a more immersive experience. 

With over 12 years in the industry, Steinbrecher is able to recognise demands and trends and act accordingly. For example, the demand for micro LEDs over traditional projection systems has grown, adding a layer of complication for AV companies, but nevertheless acted on by Qualtron. A notable project tailored to this demand was a bespoke 146 inch micro LED TV that came out of the ceiling. 

Steinbrecher acknowledged that: ‘We are able… to turn any outdoor space into an outdoor cinema within a very short time’, placing an emphasis on the incredible work that the company does to equip superyachts with the highest quality AV solutions.
