MYS 2024: Artemis’ CEO on End-To-End Superyacht Ownership Experience

By Frances Flannagan

At the Monaco Yacht Show 2024, Shari Liu sat down with Debbie Guillou, Chief Executive Officer at Artemis, to discuss the ways in which the independent trust and service providers can benefit the superyacht industry.

Artemis was established in 2001, now boasting around 170 corporate clients and over 100 trusts under its management. It offers a range of trust services, from succession planning and asset protection to looking after a wealth of assets.

The company prides itself on having a truly personalised service for its clients, developing trusted relationships and working with trusted advisors.

Debbie Guillou, Chief Executive Officer at Artemis, commented: ‘We’ve really invested in technology so that we can deliver an efficient, automated, straight-through processing type of service where that is appropriate.’

For superyacht owners, Artemis intends to take the administration out of the ownership experience, so that they can purely enjoy their assets. Dealing with the acquisition and the disposal of yachts, notably having been involved with the disposal of PHOENIX 2, all the way through to crew management, Artemis can offer an end-to-end experience for superyacht owners.

Artemis is also able to manage clients’ entire suite of luxury assets. Guillou commented: ‘We recognise that superyachts are a really important part of peoples’ portfolio, but it's not the only part… [we can] bring a holistic experience for people.’

Continuously working to elevate its presence in the superyacht industry, Artemis aims to stay visible, be transparent with the services on offer, and continue to ‘sell the story of Artemis… being that mixture between a personal relationship but also leveraging technology so that we give people the slickest, most efficient service that they can possibly ask for.’
