MYS 2024: Cecil Wright Delves into Unwavering Philosophy of Fewer Clients Service Better
On day three of the Monaco Yacht Show, Shari Liu sat down with Ed Carrell, the Commercial Director of Cecil Wright. Carrell shared insights into three of the brokerage’s standout vessels on display at the MYS, including 122m KISMET, alongside revealing the brand’s ‘North Star’, which is providing the pinnacle of service to fewer clients.
Cecil Wright has attended the 33rd edition of the MYS with three showstopping vessels on display, one of which being 122m KISMET. Launched in May this year, this beautiful yacht has truly captured the attention of attendees and potential clients.
‘Some people are loving the dining opportunities across multiple decks, others the amazing spa complex,’ commented Ed Carrell, Commercial Director of Cecil Wright. ‘Each time you notice more detail and more exquisite craftsmanship and thought that’s gone into the yacht.’
On display alongside this beautiful Lürssen are SEAWOLF X and EXTRA TIME, the former being the brokerage’s first hybrid electric yacht in its fleet. She can cruise just on electric power, offering those onboard total silence and a tranquil platform to operate from.
EXTRA TIME is also brand new this year, featuring ‘very clean lines throughout that makes the spaces large and flexible.’
Ed Carrell delved into Cecil Wright’s involvement with the America’s Cup; the brokerage is both a sponsor of the British Womens and Youth teams, alongside being the official supplier for INEOS Britannia, something which the brand is incredibly proud of.
The brokerage’s ethos was beautifully detailed by Carrell, who shared Cecil Wright’s philosophy of ‘fewer clients, service better.’ The Commercial Director acknowledged that the brand needs to continue evolving to offer the ‘best yachts for the best clients,’ this philosophy characterising the boutique brokerage.
