MYS 2024: Oceanco Talks Redefining Custom Design

Oceanco proudly spoke about H3, who underwent an extensive refit with the shipyard in 2023, and rejoiced that she has recently been enjoying a Mediterranean summer. They also updated us on the progress of the two 110m yachts under construction and discussed 71m SKAT which is currently at the shipyard for a refit. It is evident that Oceanco is truly having a fantastic year!

‘The two 110m we have under construction are progressing nicely. Actually one of them we will have in the daylight very soon early next year [..] we have seen H3 cruising the Med, of course with her remarkable story with the rebuild’.

Baloumis also discussed Oceanco’s approach to yacht construction and explained it has always been exclusively focused on offering the highest quality, tailored designs to their clients. This service however, is entering a new era, redefining what it means to produce a bespoke yacht. Oceanco will soon be offering new sercives including a full custom, simply custom and beyond custom approach to cater for all client needs.

Baloumis commented: ‘Custom builds are our essence. I don’t think we will ever build non-custom [...] our mission is to make designing and building a yacht as pleasurable as owning it’. He goes on to say ‘We have redefined our offerings which is what we are unveiling at the show [...] we have our full custom approach, our simply custom approach which is more streamlined, and our beyond custom, really for clients who want something out there’.
