MYS 2025: Brabus Marine & Axopar Create Power on the Water
At the Monaco Yacht Show, Superyachts.com caught up with Daniel Kurpik, Head of Business Development at Brabus Marine, and Roger Granfors, Sales Manager at Axopar Boats, to discuss the dynamic partnership behind some of the most performance-driven vessels on the water.
Reflecting on the origins of their collaboration, Kurpik recalls how the brands first aligned: 'Let’s stick our heads together and see what we can make out of this.' That shared spirit of innovation has since evolved into a defining synergy, where Axopar’s adventure-ready DNA meets Brabus’s bespoke detailing and power-focused design language.
Their latest creation, the Brabus Shadow 1500, which was actually at the Monaco Yacht Show, embodies that union of style and speed. With a top speed of up to 60 knots and a cruising pace around 40, the Shadow 1500 redefines the capabilities of a modern superyacht tender. 'You can basically go twice as far as with a tender that goes 20 knots,' Granfors explains, highlighting the performance leap that makes this model a true standout in its class.
As the Brabus Marine and Axopar partnership matures, the brands continue to expand their portfolio of distinct identities, from Halo flagships to Performance Lines and the ever-iconic Shadow range, all united by their shared pursuit of precision engineering and bold, unmistakable design.
