MYS 2025: David Mizrahi on How Port Nimara Will Transform Anguilla's Yachting Scene
David Mizrahi, CEO of Port Nimara, joined us here at Superyachts.com at the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show to share an exclusive insight into one of the Caribbean’s most exciting new developments. Positioned as the first of its kind in Anguilla, Port Nimara is set to transform the region’s luxury travel landscape, and Mizrahi believes the project will have a profoundly positive impact on the island.
Mizrahi introduced Port Nimara as a completely new model for the Caribbean: a master-planned, mixed-use development combining a state-of-the-art marina with a five-star resort, beachfront residences, and a commercial hub. Designed to take Anguilla’s infrastructure to the next level, the project also aligns with the expansion of the island’s international airport, promising a seamless air-to-sea experience for high-net-worth travellers. ‘It will be providing a completely new level of development,’ Mizrahi added.
Offering 118 superyacht berths, Port Nimara’s most distinctive feature is its provision of freehold marina berths, an extremely rare opportunity in the global market. Mizrahi emphasised the unique investment potential of owning a berth outright, positioning the port as both a lifestyle destination and a long-term asset. ‘It’s very special for Anguilla,’ he said. ‘It’s the first of its kind.’
The conversation also touched on regional connectivity, with Mizrahi highlighting Anguilla’s strategic location and potential to become a natural stopover for yachts moving through St Maarten and the surrounding islands. ‘Anguilla is the place you go to relax,’ he added, describing the island’s appeal as an understated haven of privacy.
With phased openings scheduled from 2027 onwards, Port Nimara represents a new chapter for Caribbean yachting; one defined by modern infrastructure, visionary planning, and a commitment to preserving the essence of Anguilla’s charm.
