MYS 2025: Jonacor Yachts on Empowerment and Partnership
Olga Rehbein, Co-Founder of Jonacor Yachts, joined us at Superyachts.com during the 34th Monaco Yacht Show to reflect on a standout year for the international yacht agency. From a successful new build project with Benetti to an exciting new deal in the works, Jonacor continued to strengthen their presence across construction, brokerage, and management.
Speaking with host Shari Liu, Rehbein shared insights into the rising number of female clients entering the superyacht space, not just as guests, but as owners and decision-makers. ‘It used to be a man’s world,’ she explained, ‘but that’s changing fast.’ Through collaborations with shipyards like Astondoa, Jonacor is helping to meet the evolving needs of this growing demographic.
Rehbein also spoke about the strengths female brokers bring to the table, particularly when it comes to understanding the deeper motivations behind a purchase. ‘I try to understand why they are buying the yacht,’ she said, ‘and we find the solution together.’
With a people-first approach and a passion for empowering her clients, Rehbein summed it up best, saying, ‘I hope that women come to me and that I can be their provider for the yachting world.’
