MYS 2025: Martyn Fiddler on Supporting Ownership with Integrated Solutions

By Nora Hart

Martin Kennaugh and Ian Petts of Martyn Fiddler joined us in the Superyachts.com Interview Studio at the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show to discuss the evolution of their firm and the growing complexity behind ownership of high-value assets. From their roots as a corporate services provider, Martyn Fiddler has grown into a trusted advisor for clients with yachts, jets, helicopters, and other cross-border assets. Today, the company is known for integrating practical tax and customs advice with long-term ownership strategies across multiple jurisdictions.

As more families consolidate ownership of yachts, jets, and helicopters, the firm’s approach has adapted. ‘We try to integrate all solutions,’ explained Petts. ‘It’s an ever-changing environment, and we want to make sure we’re doing the best for them.’ Their team works closely with family offices and clients to provide tailored structures that evolve over time, often starting with the initial purchase and continuing through every stage of ownership.

They also touched on the shift in how assets are used today, particularly yachts. Increasingly, families are seeing them not just as luxury items, but as spaces to bring generations together. ‘We’re going to build something bespoke around them,’ said Kennaugh, reflecting on how Martyn Fiddler’s role has become more hands-on and relationship-driven.

With expertise in aviation and marine tax, the firm continues to guide clients through complex fiscal terrain with clarity and confidence, always staying flexible and committed to personal service.
