MYS 2025: Winch Designs Redefines Luxury with FLOWFORM and REVERIE
At the end of the first day of the Monaco Yacht Show 2025, Superyachts.com welcomed Jim Dixon, Director of Yachts and Aviation at Winch Design, to our interview studio. Dixon shared insights into the studio’s latest projects and the evolving approach to modern yacht design.
FLOWFORM made its debut this morning, showcasing Winch Design’s signature blend of innovative architecture and functional luxury. The concept emphasises fluid lines, expansive spaces, and a client-focused approach, reinforcing the studio’s reputation for forward-thinking design. Flowform illustrates how Winch is pushing boundaries while maintaining a commitment to elegance and usability.
REVERIE continues this momentum of true craftsmanship. Conceived as an 80m platform for a dynamic owner with a fast-paced lifestyle, Reverie balances energy with tranquility. Its design reflects Winch’s dedication to crafting yachts that embody both vitality and moments of stillness, offering a tailored experience for modern ownership.
HERE COMES THE SUN reflects a broader lifestyle vision, emphasising how “the lifestyle and the clients are changing – inviting you to relax and be on holiday.” The project prioritises experiential luxury, creating a vessel that is not just a yacht, but a space for relaxation, exploration, and enjoyment, tailored to modern life.
Dixon highlighted Winch’s philosophy on the importance of continuing to diversify, noting: “We are not just here to represent yachts, we do aviation work and land based work as well so it is a very diverse studio.”
With these projects, Winch Design continues to redefine yacht ownership, combining creativity, innovation, and lifestyle-driven concepts that respond to the evolving desires of contemporary clients.
