New Amico & Co Superyacht Hub Opens in Genoa

The strategic location of the new Waterfront Marina is without doubt its biggest appeal. A stone’s throw from the centre of GEnoa and a 15-minute drive from Genoa International Airport, Waterfront Marina is ideally placed to use as a base for cruising the popular nearby towns of Portofino and Cinque Terre.

But it doesn’t stop there. With a vast on-land area spanning over 15,000 square metres, Waterfront Marina offers guests the full array of services and amenities. From fully-equipped gym to yoga studio, through to offices and three courts for tennis, football and basketball, this newest addition to the Genoan coastline is sure to prove as popular with owners and charterers as with crew. 

With accommodation for 26 yachts, guests will enjoy the vast space and facilities in relative privacy, a welcome reprieve from the bustling town centre. The marina was built by refit yard Amico & Co in response to a need for ‘adequate hospitality to superyachts’ choosing Amico & Co for their refit and maintenance. The added benefit of this is the proximity of world-class repair services to any yachts berthing in Waterfront Marina without the original intention of undertaking works. 

Waterfront Marina is a key foundation of the international ‘Genoa Superyacht Hub’ project  promoted by Amico & Co together with the Pesto Sea Group, aimed at maintaining the excellence of hospitality, assistance, technical and entertainment services that the hub has to offer. 

The Waterfront Marina completes the seaward Eastern development of waterfront areas in the Genoan region, as outlined by Architect Renzo Piano on behalf of Genoa Municipality.
