Newly formed NEXT Yacht Group Unifies Three Brands

By Freya Cottrell

NEXT Yacht Group has announced its establishment as the unification of three Tuscan-born superyacht brands: MAIORA, AB YACHTS and CBI NAVI. Boasting over 40 years of experience within the yachting industry, NEXT Yacht Group is extending the work of the three historical companies by continuing their contributions to Italian yachting, ensuring its place throughout the yachting world.

As the name implies, NEXT Yacht Group has been created with one eye on the future of luxury yachting. The group hopes to go beyond conventional paradigms and offer its own vision of excellence and an innovative interpretation of Luxury Lifestyle.

An amalgamation of the three house styles, NEXT Yacht Group will utilise Maiora Yachts’ ultimate level of onboard comfort and livability, AB Yachts’ sporty personality and high-speed cruising, and CBI Navi’s innovation in the use of technology in steel boat building.

Aiming to unite world-wide boat building under the umbrella of top-end luxury hospitality within Versilia, NEXT Yacht Group is the linchpin on which the connection of Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi depends. The capital of worldwide boat building with the glamour of beaches and haute couture, will be united with the historical Hotel Principe di Piemonte with the mellow charm of Maitò Beach, through the unique sensory experience offered by the best starred chefs.

NEXT Yacht Group will be appearing in three of the largest yachts shows in Europe this year: Cannes, Genoa and Monaco. It will be introducing its new company structure whilst giving the yachting world its inaugural look at the company’s fresh brand identity, values and strategies.

A vital asset to the group, Gennaro Candida De Matteo, the new CEO of NEXT Yacht Group has coordinated the renovation of the groups production sites and model productions. He has also used his long-standing experience within the yachting industry to strengthen the design and organisational structure of the company.
