Newport Charter Yacht Show 2026 Returns to Showcase Charter Excellence

By Sophia Spanton

As the summer charter season gathers momentum, the Newport Charter Yacht Show returns from 22–25 June 2026, reaffirming its status as one of the industry’s most focused and influential showcases for luxury charter yachts.

Now in its 35th year, the show continues to offer a highly focused platform for charter professionals, with more than 80 brokers expected to attend and a fleet spanning sailing and motor yachts from 15 to over 60 metres. For yachts operating in New England for the summer, the event provides a critical opportunity to present their charter programmes, crews and onboard experience to the brokers responsible for securing bookings.

Among this year’s standout entries is the 55-metre M/Y LADY BETH, presented by Fraser Yachts Florida and currently the largest yacht confirmed for the show. Designed with charter versatility in mind, she features two master suites, including a full-beam main deck apartment and a private bridge deck master with its own terrace, alongside a guest elevator, expansive beach club and a comprehensive inventory of water toys tailored to multigenerational charters.

Also making a notable debut is the 46-metre M/Y AVALON, showcased by IYC. Built by Delta Marine, Avalon combines a generous 9.7-metre beam with a family-friendly layout and is further distinguished by her accompanying 18.5-metre sportfishing vessel, offering an enhanced, experience-led charter programme that extends beyond the mothership itself.

Alongside AVALON, IYC will also introduce two other first-time entries: the 37m M/Y AWAY and the 39m M/Y BELLA VITA

Beyond the docks, the Newport Charter Yacht Show maintains its reputation for celebrating crew talent and onboard excellence. A dynamic programme of events, including the Chef Competition, Tablescaping and Cocktail contests, and the ever-popular Yacht Hop, provides a platform for crews to demonstrate the creativity and service standards that define the charter experience.

Set within one of the United States’ most storied sailing destinations, and hosted by the well-established Safe Harbor Newport Shipyard, the show continues to strike a balance between business-focused engagement and a distinctly relaxed New England atmosphere. For brokers and crews alike, it remains an essential fixture for shaping the summer charter season ahead.

"As for the show, it’s a favourite because it’s at the beginning of summer, and it has a nice vibe..."
