Ocean Independence Corners DACH Region with New Hamburg Office

Specialising in yacht sales, charter, new build and management, Ocean Independence is a full service superyacht brokerage and one of the fastest-growing companies in the luxury yachting sector. It also boasts the largest crewed charter fleet in the world including: 65m Sea Rhapsody built by Amels, recently refitted 60m Vicky and Benetti's 55m Ocean Paradise.

Operating from 13 offices globally and speaking 23 different languages, the addition of the Hamburg office is primarily to strengthen and serve the company’s German-speaking client base. Together with the original German office, located in Düsseldorf, and the head office in Switzerland, Ocean Independence has covered all bases of the D A CH region. Initially focussing on yacht sales and management activity, the Hamburg office is expected to go from strength to strength particularly as it is under the watchful eye of ex-Captain Mirko Derezynski who will be transferring his yachting management skills to the new office. Alongside Derezynski is yacht sales broker Luka Stratmann who will be shifting his focus to the German market and supporting Ocean Independence clients primarily from Düsseldof and Hamburg.
