By George Bains

International brokerage IYC boasts an enviable sales fleet of exquisite superyachts located around the world. Some of these standout superyachts have been made available for significantly reduced prices, prompting shrewd buyers to sit up and consider the advantages of the current market.

With a wealth of expertise in the industry and a well-established presence globally, IYC naturally manages some of the world’s most exciting superyachts available on the markets. While yachts such as 80m Bilgin flagship Tatiana are available for charter, we take a closer look at IYC’s brokerage fleet and specifically those with recent price reductions.

Valerie – 85.10m Lurssen Yachts

€150,000,000 (was €160,000,000)

Sitting in the Vilanova Grand Marina in Barcelona is this classic superyacht built by esteemed German shipyard, Lurssen. Her recent price reduction makes her a unique opportunity and the lowest priced Lurssen superyacht over 70-metres available on the market.

Delivered in 2011 and most recently refitted in 2019, Valerie is a timeless masterpiece with an Espen Øino exterior profile and Reymond Langton art deco-inspired interior. Recent plans for a new Beach Club will add value to her next owner, and ensure that Valerie remains the pinnacle of luxury on the water. IYC Sales Agent Richard Gray says that Spending time onboard, you begin to realize the time, effort and detail that has gone into building such a timeless masterpiece. Both the interior and exterior are full of details that continue to surprise you.”

SOLO – 72m Tankoa Yachts

€67,900,000 (was €71,500,000)

A sophisticated and voluminous superyacht, SOLO has been forged out of Italian excellence. The Tankoa-built superyacht was a star attraction at last year’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, and features a prestigious design collaboration between Francesco Paszkowski and Margherita Casprini.

A graceful and elegant structure in the water, SOLO opens up to offer her guests supreme luxury throughout her warm interior spaces. Her new Owner will be treated to a plush and spacious Owner’s cabin, with floor-to-ceiling windows and skylights connecting them with the outdoor environment.

Loon – 47.24m Christensen

€9,999,000 (was €10,450,000)

With a recent refit in 2018, this 1997 classic Christensen superyacht is available for less than ten million euros, a shrewd investment considering her strong charter history.

Generous onboard spaces provide the perfect setting for large groups of friends or family, serviced by an award-winning crew to make every experience unforgettable. Her design has been focused on creating outdoor spaces to allow guests to make the most of their time at sea. From al fresco dining facilities to the Jacuzzi, water toys and countless sunbathing spots, Loon has everything to cater for all needs.

Guests are welcomed onboard via the stunning lobby and will enjoy the plenty of opulent spaces around the yacht, including an elegant main salon and an entertainment-filled skylounge. Spacious accommodation welcomes 12 guests into six luxurious cabins in a flexible arrangement ideal for private use or charter.

Seagull of Cayman – 40m Feadship

€3,900,000 (was €5,400,000)

Seagull of Cayman is certainly one of the more intriguing propositions in the IYC brokerage fleet. A vintage Feadship superyacht which has undergone an extensive three-year refit programme to adjust her to modern standards of luxury, like Loon she can accommodate up to 12 guests in six staterooms.

Her interior styling features original Feadship joinery, custom silk carpet along with leather and brass in keeping with the yacht’s sophisticated ambience. Located aft is a large main salon and dining salon that provide entertainment spaces befitting of a much larger category of superyacht. There is plenty of space on the exterior for guests to indulge in, especially the expansive flybridge where sun pads and a barbeque provide the perfect place for daytime relaxation.
