Project PERENNIAL: A Brand New 60m Yacht Exclusively Available with Denison Yachting

By Frances Flannagan

Denison Yachting has announced that it will be debuting the new 60m motor yacht Project PERENNIAL, exclusively listed for sale as a new build opportunity with the brokerage. Timeless and elegant, this Tony Castro yacht boasts generous volumes, giving way to a plethora of amenities and a sociable layout.

Designed by Tony Castro, Project PERENNIAL takes after her namesake of the Latin word for ‘timeless’ as she exudes classical elegance, designed to enhance the user experience on board as opposed to following current design trends.

Tony Castro commented on the collaboration with Denison Yachting: ‘Great minds think alike. The Tony Castro design team is happy to have found in Denison Yachting someone that sees the future of custom superyacht building as we do.’

Project PERENNIAL features an exterior with soft flowing lines that gracefully hug her large volume, a beautiful example of the design studio’s elegant and meticulous craftsmanship. She is the perfect family vessel, with her exterior spaces designed with a sociable approach. Her aft terrace boasts a large asymmetric pool with soft sofas either side, alongside a breakfast bar that can be used in the morning or evening. A raised pavilion looks onto the terrace, which can be set up for dining and lounging, whilst a more formal dining area can be found on the bridge deck aft.

Making the most of the outdoors, the crew are able to easily cover the whole terrace with a large slatted pergola, providing a Tuscan-style sunshade, so her Owner and guests can enjoy this area even in the hottest of temperatures.

The beach club can be found on the lower deck, alongside aft boarding and easy access to the water via fold-down platforms. This shows Project PERENNIAL to be perfect for water sport activities or waterside bathing, encouraging a close connection to the water, which is enhanced by a large tender bay able to accommodate a nine metre limo tender and a seven metre rib.

Depending on her Owner’s preference, the foredeck can either be used as a flat deck for helicopter boarding, or can be designed as a forward spa pool and encircled fire pit.

Project PERENNIAL boasts a full Owner’s deck, complete with his and hers en suites, a panoramic view and a private veranda, allowing for her Owner to indulge in a luxurious escape onboard. A dedicated space aft can be used as either an Owner’s office or lounge, with access to the aft deck and sun deck above.

She features a well thought-out layout within her generous volume, able to accommodate between 12 and 16 guests depending on the set-up of the Pullman beds and a crew of up to 16 plus the captain. On the main deck, there is a gym and spa area alongside two forward VIP cabins with balcony access and a large family cabin, whilst the other two cabins can be found on the lower deck, with direct access to the beach club and a cinema.

David Johnson, a broker at Denison, commented on the successful collaboration with Tony Castro: ‘It is an absolute pleasure to work with Tony and his talented team on this project. Tony is a legend in the industry, so when his office shared the design with me, I knew I wanted to promote it. Tony’s studio has designed a 60m yacht with 1200 GT that has maintained stylish lines and at the same time has some very creative areas. I am personally very impressed with the aft deck ‘Cabana’ style lounge that until now has never been done on a yacht of this size.’
