RAFALE: H2 Yacht Design’s Sculptural Vision for Turquoise Yachts
Turquoise Yachts has revealed further details of its in-build 81-metre project RAFALE, a yacht that brings together refined form, practical design, and a progressive approach to propulsion. Now under construction in Turkey, RAFALE represents a confident evolution for the yard as it continues to expand its large-yacht portfolio, with H2 Yacht Design leading both exterior and interior design.
H2’s approach defines RAFALE from the outset. Her distinctive sheer line flows from bow to stern in a continuous curve, visually extending her five decks. Seamless glazing wraps each level, lending a sense of lightness to her profile while framing uninterrupted views throughout. The overall effect is cohesive and deliberate, balancing power with restraint.
H2’s influence carries through to the interior, where the emphasis lies on flexibility and calm detail rather than ornamentation. The owner’s deck includes a private office, his-and-hers dressing rooms and bathrooms, and direct access to a forward terrace with pool. Six guest cabins and several lounges are connected by a sculptural spiral staircase at the core of the yacht, promoting an intuitive flow between spaces.
RAFALE’s exterior areas are arranged across tiered decks that allow for both socialisation and privacy. A beach club opens on three sides at water level, complemented by three pools located on the main, owner, and sun decks. Dining, lounging, and shaded zones are positioned to make the most of the views and natural light, while storage for large tenders and toys supports extended cruising.
Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, RAFALE will be flagged in the Cayman Islands. Her hybrid propulsion system combines twin MTU 12V4000 M65L engines with a 1,920 kWh battery capacity, offering improved efficiency and reduced emissions without compromising performance.
Scheduled for delivery in 2028, RAFALE marks a continued collaboration between Turquoise Yachts and H2 Yacht Design, a partnership that consistently produces yachts defined by clarity of form, disciplined detailing, and a contemporary yet enduring sense of style.
"RAFELE speaks to a new era of yachting – one that embraces sculptural form, emotional connection, and environmental consideration in equal measure."
