Rosetti Lays Keel of Second 38m Explorer Yacht

The construction of the new Rosetti Superyachts 38m Explorer Yacht has begun at the Rosetti Marino Group San Vitale Shipyard in Ravenna, Italy.

After the successful delivery of its first-ever Explorer Yacht, 38m M/Y EMOCEAN, and her positive response at the Cannes Yachting Festival last year, Italian shipyard Rosetti Superyachts has revealed that the keel of her sister vessel has now been laid.

Scheduled for delivery in August 2023, the new 38m Explorer Yacht features a sporty yet sharp exterior design by Sergio Cutolo of Hydro Tech, and her yet-to-be-revealed interior is by BurdissoCapponi Yachts & Design. Her naval architecture is also by Sergio Cutolo of Hydro Tech.

The European owners, who are keen sailing enthusiasts, signed the contract at the end of last year following an introduction to RSY by Burgess.

Chairman & CEO of Rosetti Superyachts, Ermanno Bellettini, commented on the keel-laying ceremony, “We are extremely proud to see the passion and enthusiasm in the eyes of the owners and all our colleagues at this special keel-laying. We are fully committed to this new build, which is another important step towards the development of our shipyard along the path traced by Rosetti Marino Group.”

Andrea Giora, Rosetti Superyachts’ Sales and Marketing Director also commented on the new build, “We were delighted to celebrate with the new RSY owners who are a very welcome addition to the Rosetti Superyachts family. We will endeavour to meet all their challenging expectations and are looking forward to confirming the remarkable market response to RSY Explorer yachts.”

Less than two years on from its San Vitale shipyard expansion, Rosetti Superyachts are certainly proving their place in the Explorer Yacht market. We would like to wish the shipyard every success in this exciting new build and we are looking forward to seeing the future developments of this second RSY 38m EXP.
