Rossinavi Launches 50m Full-Custom M/Y BEL1

By Frances Flannagan

BEL1 has officially been launched in Pisa: Rossinavi’s latest 50 metre superyacht with shaft lines and diesel propulsion. She has been designed with privacy in mind, with a mezzanine deck housing an enclosed beach club, to increase the intimacy of areas on board.

BEL1 is the result of a fruitful collaboration between Rossinavi and Fulvio De Simoni Yacht Design, who oversaw her exterior styling. She is a full-custom and full-aluminium superyacht, with interiors penned by Enrico Gobbi of Enrico Gobbi - Team for Design.

This stunning superyacht was developed to exude an innovative, original style with an identifiable personality. The breadth of closed volumes and the usability of open areas have been maximised, and a high hull and well-integrated superstructure have resulted in BEL1 being a highly modern and sleek vessel.

Two large hull openings characterise BEL1’s profile, bringing an abundance of light into the salon and Owner’s area, harmoniously contrasting the linear nature of the superstructure. In keeping with Rossinavi’s DNA, a lot of importance has also been placed on the design of her bow.

Unusual architecture has been implemented in the aft area, creating ample outdoor spaces arranged on staggered decks to meet varying and specific functional needs.

BEL1 features a main deck cockpit that offers great privacy, featuring a protected and enclosed beach club. Foldable sides transform the aft into a large terrace overlooking the sea, cultivating a connection between those onboard and their surroundings. This is enhanced by a dining area that can be protected by sliding glass panels, allowing BEL1’s Owner and guests to be outdoors even in less favourable weather conditions.

An impressive sun deck of over 145 sqm was made possible due to the extension of the superstructure, setting BEL1 apart from other yachts within her category. The deck has been divided into several areas, including a sunbathing space, a shaded central portion with sofas and a bar, and a mini-pool on the bow area, highlighting the functional nature of her meticulously-designed spaces.

Fulvio De Simoni, Founder of Fulvio De Simoni Yacht Design, commented: ‘We are very satisfied and proud of this project, which, due to its originality and architectural complexity, has been quite challenging. However, at the same time, it has allowed us to express our creativity in inventing new forms without compromising functionality and the enjoyment of life on board the ship.’

"The goal was to combine stylistic coherence with extra dimensions. For example, on the 145 square meter flybridge."
