Round Up: Palma International Boat Show 2025

By Nora Hart

The 2025 Palma International Boat Show has redefined what a world-class yachting event can be. Held from April 30th to May 3rd at the stunning Moll Vell in Palma, this year’s show attracted more than 30,000 visitors, surpassing last year’s attendance and affirming Palma’s growing importance as a hub for innovation, luxury, and yachting excellence.

Exhibitors were particularly enthusiastic about the event’s success, with 95% expressing their intent to return in 2026. The show proved to be a powerful business platform, generating high-quality leads and fostering valuable connections among industry leaders. The palpable energy of the event, combined with a rich offering of superyachts and marine technology, ensured that Palma is at the forefront of the global yachting scene.

One of the defining features of this year’s edition was the expansion into Club de Mar, a prestigious area that allowed for the creation of the Superyacht New Build Hub. This new space showcased 10 remarkable superyachts, including standout models such as the Baltic 142 Canova, Wally 110 Galma, and Pendennis 128 Halekai. The Hub provided a refined setting for both yacht builders and potential buyers to engage, while also highlighting cutting-edge innovation in yacht design and construction.

At the heart of the Superyacht New Build Hub, the AIRE Lounge offered a unique atmosphere for networking, blending relaxation with business. Guests enjoyed gourmet food and drinks, while live DJ sets added energy to the experience. VIP tenders, provided by Boote Polch Mallorca, ensured smooth access between the main show and Club de Mar, offering a seamless and luxurious visitor experience throughout the event.

Sustainability also played a key role in this year’s show, as Yacht Carbon Offset partnered with the event to neutralize 10 tonnes of CO2e through the Ombepo Wind Power Project in Namibia. This initiative further underscores the growing focus on environmental responsibility in the yachting industry, and demonstrates a collective commitment to a cleaner, greener future.

As the 2025 edition comes to a close, the Palma International Boat Show continues to solidify its reputation as one of the most prestigious and forward-thinking events on the yachting calendar. Looking ahead, the 2026 Palma International Boat Show, scheduled for April 29 to May 2, 2026, promises to build on this success, offering even more opportunities for innovation, business, and the celebration of yachting’s brightest future.

The 2025 Palma International Boat Show was not just an event, but a showcase of the yachting industry’s unwavering commitment to excellence, sustainability, and innovation. The bar has been raised, and the yachting world is eagerly anticipating what comes next.
