Sale of 59m Benetti IDYLLIC, Now Renamed DILARA

By Sophia Spanton

The new year brings another standout success for Royal Yacht International, as the 59.3‑metre Benetti IDYLLIC changes hands and embarks on her next chapter under a new name, DILARA. The sale was arranged by Manuele Thiella, CEO of Royal Yacht International, representing the buyer, with IYC acting on behalf of the seller.

We closed 2025 with the sale of a 72‑metre yacht, and we’re kicking off 2026 with a 60‑metre deal,' commented Thiella. 'The market is clearly showing that the high‑end segment is still hot and at RYI, we’re making sure we’re right in the middle of it.'

The transaction marks a strong start to the year for the Monaco‑based brokerage house, once again reflecting the continued vitality of the large‑yacht resale market and the demand for timeless, pedigree superyachts.

Originally delivered in 2008 by Benetti, this 996GT yacht was designed by Stefano Natucci with interiors by Studio Massari, and has since become recognised for her Italian craftsmanship and enduring presence on the water. Her 2022 refit transformed the yacht into a contemporary retreat, seamlessly blending her elegant Benetti heritage with refined modern comfort.

The most striking changes were made in the upper saloon, where new furnishings, lighting, and finishes redefined the atmosphere entirely. The space now centres around a statement bar, a games table, and a large flatscreen TV opposite a plush L‑shaped sofa, creating a versatile lounge where guests can transition easily between indoor relaxation and the adjoining al fresco dining area on deck.

DILARA accommodates up to 12 guests in six beautifully refreshed cabins. Across her exterior spaces, the 2022 refit also brought new life to the yacht’s decks. The sundeck now doubles as an open‑air cinema and lounge, while the Jacuzzi area has been enhanced with new cushions and sunpads.

She cruises comfortably at 14.5 knots, and offers a 4,500‑nautical‑mile range, making her suited to both Mediterranean and global exploration.

With Royal Yacht International continuing to close deals in the 60‑ to 70‑metre range, it’s a strong indication that pedigree yachts with fresh interiors and proven performance remain among the most sought‑after investments on the market.
