Sanlorenzo Unveils SL80A: The Purest Expression of Its Iconic SL Line

Positioned as the first icon of the range, SL80A brings Sanlorenzo’s asymmetric architecture to a more compact scale while aiming to preserve the proportions, light, balance and liveability that define the SL line. The design is intended to feel larger than its length suggests, with the brand stating that the layout increases onboard liveability by up to 20%.

The yacht has been shaped under the signature of Zuccon International Project, continuing a long-running collaboration with Sanlorenzo. Its profile is marked by taut proportions, clean lines and a seamless relationship between hull and superstructure, while the flybridge is integrated to maintain the yacht’s visual balance rather than add bulk.

Inside, the asymmetric configuration allows the port side to expand after the starboard walkway is moved to the side, creating a broader saloon and a stronger sense of openness. SL80A offers four guest cabins, including a full-beam owner’s suite, along with a mezzanine navigation station, a fully glazed main deck and a staircase designed as a sculptural architectural feature rather than a purely functional element.

Material choices reinforce the yacht’s contemporary feel, with Thai walnut and Azteca parquet bringing warmth and texture throughout the interior. The stern cockpit opens fully to the water, while the bow lounge has been conceived as a flexible social space that can shift from sunbathing to dining with ease.
