SeaXplorer 58 PINK SHADOW Spotted on Sea Trials Ahead of Completion
The SeaXplorer 58 has now successfully completed a set of sea trials ahead of her completion later this spring.
The explorer known as PINK SHADOW took to the waters at her build location in Antalya in Turkey, and will be the third yacht delivered from the Dutch builder's range of luxury explorer yachts.
Coming in at 58-metres, with an 11-metre beam and 3.6-metre draft, this stunning vessel boasts a gross tonnage of 1,090 GT. Her exterior was thoughtfully crafted by Azure Yacht Design, whilst her interior was meticulously penned by Design Unlimited.
She boasts an Ice Class hull for safe operations in polar waters and a customised configuration, and has been built and designed to meet the adventurous Owner’s globe-trotting lifestyle with family and friends to explore polar and tropical regions alike.
Pink Shadow demonstrates a maximum speed of 14.5 knots, and a cruising speed of 11.5 knots, at 5,000 nautical miles. She can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests, and can house up to 17 crew members, plus the Captain.
Damen Yachting’s SeaXplorer Design Manager, Enrique Tintore, commented: “We are very happy with how the sea trials are going and are looking forward to delivering this SeaXplorer to the Owner in the very near future. She performed and looked great sailing for first time and is certainly a head-turning yacht with her unique colour scheme and design features.”
