SILVER FOX: An Elevated Flagship for Sanlorenzo
With her delivery in 2026, the 72-metre SILVER FOX emerges not only as the first of the 74Steel series, but as the new flagship of Sanlorenzo, a yacht that signals a decisive evolution in scale, engineering and philosophy for the Italian shipyard.
Built in steel and aluminium, and measuring approximately 1,900 gross tonnes, SILVER FOX represents the yard’s most advanced project to date. Developed on a pre-engineered technical platform yet executed to an uncompromisingly bespoke standard, she reflects Sanlorenzo’s enduring commitment to craftsmanship, innovation and elegance, now realised on a grander canvas than ever before.
Her exterior, by Zuccon International Project, is an exercise in architectural calm. Sinuous lines and a confident vertical bow create a distinctive profile, while expansive glazing fosters a seamless tie to the sea. Inside, Francesco Paszkowski Design, in collaboration with Margherita Casprini, has shaped a refined interior defined by curved forms, matte timber finishes and carefully selected marbles, each space conceived from the inside out, with the owner’s experience at its core.
Innovation underpins every aspect of SILVER FOX’s design. Her advanced diesel-electric propulsion system, engineered in collaboration with Siemens Energy, integrates twin Schottel E-Pods with a substantial battery bank to deliver efficient, low-consumption and near-silent cruising. Beyond performance, the configuration liberates valuable volume, allowing technical areas to be reimagined as lifestyle spaces.
The result is one of the most impressive beach clubs in her class. Spanning 290 square metres at sea level, it unfolds into a vast walk-around waterfront terrace complete with spa, gym, hammam and massage room as a dedicated wellness sanctuary that underscores the yacht’s focus on balance and wellbeing.
Accommodation is arranged across eight cabins, including a full-beam VIP and a flexible family suite with direct beach club access. The 300-square-metre Owner’s Deck stands as a private retreat: a full-beam suite with two spa-inspired bathrooms, private lounge and office, and a forward terrace crowned by a hot tub with panoramic views. Above, the sun deck serves as the social hub of the yacht, with bar, firepit and Jacuzzi framed by sweeping vistas.
Further highlights include a glass-bottomed infinity pool illuminating the beach club below, a touch-and-go helipad, guest lift, floodlit sports court and generous tender garages.
Now presented exclusively for charter by Edmiston, SILVER FOX steps onto the global stage as both a technological achievement and a philosophical statement. As Sanlorenzo’s flagship, she demonstrates that size need not equate to excess, and that scale, when guided by clear vision, can deliver something uniquely powerful.
With SILVER FOX, Sanlorenzo does not simply introduce a larger yacht. She defines a new pinnacle for their fleet and a confident direction for the future.
