Iconic Australian yacht builder, SilverYachts, is close to launching its latest stellar superyacht project. Hull 006, named GlobalFast, is an 85-metre Silver World Explorer developed on the outstanding platform of Bold. The superyacht is available for a new owner to take delivery in the second quarter of 2022 and boasts an array of advancements to enhance the guest experience.

SilverYachts is the industry’s champion of delivering custom, high-performance and efficient aluminium superyachts with the help of renowned designer and long-standing collaborator Espen Øino. Together they have launched superyachts such as Rabdan, Dragonfly, Smeralda and most recently Bold.

And it is the successful platform of the latter upon which GlobalFast has been developed. GlobalFast is an 85.3m aluminium expedition yacht capable of transcending up to 16 guests to the most remote regions of the world in ultimate luxury. Generously packed with amenities to support both indulgence and adventure, she is sure delight her future owner and create unforgettable memories around the world.

At 1561GT, GlobalFast offers incredible volume for her guests, and it is safe to say the space has been used effectively. An enormous aft main deck has plenty of storage for tenders and toys, with a certified heli landing area and versatile entertainment space. The adjoining Heli hangar also serves as a gym, disco, and cinema to ensure that all the needs and interests of those on board are served.

Spacious outdoor areas are ideal for entertaining across the three decks, including an intimate upper lounge area, jacuzzi, bar and dining areas. The Loft features floor to ceiling windows, expansive lounge space and sit-down dining, along with a media wall. GlobalFast will also be graced with one of Silver Yachts’ most iconic design features, a wintergarden. The wintergarden will have sliding glass walls that allow conversion to an outdoor space with panoramic views.

The expert teams of engineers, designers and shipwrights at Silver Yachts have also been busy at work making advancements to the efficiency, storage capacity and long-range capabilities of GlobalFast.

GlobalFast’s propulsion engines and generators are IMO Tier 3 emission compliant, with bow and stern thrusters upgraded to permanent magnetic electric motors. The generator exhaust has also been upgraded to include Diesel Particulate Filtration (DPF) for cleaner exhaust emissions. Greater efficiency pays dividends in cost and consciousness for the superyacht’s future owner, who will also benefit from the new stabilisation system to further reduce motion at rest and sea.

Raising the Sun Deck has allowed room to create a voluminous Alfresco dining area, while lounge styling updates have also been made forward on the Sun Deck. Foredeck alterations have been made to offer more space for jet ski and small tender storage, with the lifting capacity of the aft deck crane increased to 8 tonnes.

GlobalFast promises to be the ultimate vessel for world exploration and luxury. An opulent palace with capabilities to reach the most adventurous regions of the world, this is certainly a unique opportunity for owners looking to get the most out of their time on the water.
