Sindalah: A 'New Dimension' of Luxury Superyacht Travel

By Frances Flannagan

The Red Sea's first ultra-prime superyacht destination Sindalah is set to be opened in 2024. The premium superyacht experience will be elevated by the new partnership between NEOM and BWA Yachting who will be the ‘key partner superyacht agency in NEOM’.

Sindalah, a new dimension of luxury travel, is currently in a rapid construction phase to be opened in early 2024. It will be the first iteration of NEOM to come to life: the future of civilization offering a luxurious and idyllic lifestyle. NEOM is creating a world leading yachting ecosystem with 39 islands, including Sindalah, with more than 5000 yachting berths.

With six months of Winter sun a year, Sindalah will become the new destination on the yachting calendar. The island’s yachting clientele will be highly supported by the BWA Yachting team which are to assist on operations at the superyacht marina. The staff have decades of experience, ensuring a seamless premium experience for customers, an extension of the premium destination.

Sindalah will offer a glamorous gateway to the wonders of the Red Sea. The ultra-prime marina will offer 86 berths for yachts up to 75m and additional offshore buoys for superyachts up to 180m, accommodating vessels of every size.

Luxury travellers can be assured an unforgettable experience; Sindalah will include one of the most exotic golf courses in the world, Michelin star restaurants and luxury retail opportunities. The beach club is to be hosted by the region’s top entertainment icons and the Marine Activities Center will allow for adventures within the magic of the marine life. Three Luxury hotels, including a Four Seasons Resort and Saudi Arabia’s first Marriott International Autograph Collection Hotels, will offer unmatched accommodation experiences.

Not only is Sindalah exceptional in terms of luxury, it is also exceptional with regards to sustainability. It is surrounded by a diverse marine environment, so this was an important element for developers. Luca Dini Design & Architecture are leading the island’s design which is inspired by the surrounding coral reefs and waterscapes of the Red Sea.

Antoni Vives, Chief Urban Development and Islands Officer at NEOM, comments, 'Sindalah will redefine the luxury island experience and become the most sought after yachting destination in the world, offering six months of Winter sun and less than a day's sail from the ports of the Mediterranean. Working with BWA Yachting will allow us to tap into their expertise and provide the unparalleled yachting ecosystem and elevated experience for which Sindalah will become synonymous. This partnership represents an important step as we invite the world to set sail for Sindalah.'

Vives’ enthusiasm for the partnership is mirrored by the CEO at BWA Yachting, Paschalis Patsiokas: 'We are honored and excited to be invited by NEOM to establish our presence within this groundbreaking project. At BWA Yachting we are committed to providing world-class services to superyachts visiting Sindalah and eagerly look forward to creating captivating Neom itineraries, delivering extraordinary experiences for our clients in this spectacular new destination.'

Superyachts.com would like to congratulate NEOM and BWA Yachting on this harmonious partnership and we are excited to see the magic of Sindalah unfold.
