Six-Star Luxury onboard TDoS’ Expedition Yacht Crystal Endeavor

183m expedition megayacht Crystal Endeavor, featuring design by Tillberg Design of Sweden, sets sail from Reykjavik on July 17 for a ten-night roundtrip around Iceland. The Polar-class vessel perfectly combines expedition capabilities with luxury amenities to provide unforgettable adventures for up to 200 guests, and marks another noticeable upsurge in the trending demand for luxury residence and expedition yachts.

The name Endeavor has been taken from the ship sailed by Captain James Cook on his voyage of discovery to Australia and New Zealand. Accommodating 200 guests in 100 suites, this is the world’s largest and most spacious megayacht, with a 1:1 staff to guest ratio to ensure each passenger is well attended to.

Crystal Endeavor offers extreme luxury combined with extraordinary service, with more space per person than any other ship. Her Polar Class 6 classification enables her to sail through medium first-year ice in the Arctic and Antarctic regions, bringing guests closer to breath-taking wonders of our world.

One of the most impressive spaces onboard Crystal Endeavor is her two-story solarium, a glass-enclosed social area that offers panoramic views from sea to sky wth an ultra-modern retreat featuring Crystal Seahorse Pool and Jacuzzi. This transforms in the evenings to become an entertainment area with a stage and dancefloor.

“The Solarium design is a realisation of our vision to bring the outside in,” says Anders Lund-Rasmussen, TDoS Project Director. “Look up to witness the majesty of star fields, while you let all your worries evaporate in the spa or maybe catch a glimpse of a polar bear as you cruise by, while sipping a snowball cocktail.

“We’re creating unforgettable memories by surrounding you with plenty of exquisite designs.”

Another favourite spot onboard is Palm Court, an inviting contemporary space perfect for afternoon tea of a cocktail. With a magnificent forward view one, guests can admire the beautiful scenery outside or listen to the presentations or lectures of the day.

Crystal Life Sa & Salon, Crystal Life Fitness, and Crystal Life Sauna are all wellness area offering fitness classes, treatments and relaxation in absolute comfort with a perfect view, all designed by TDoS.

The design and building calibre of Crystal Endeavor is outstanding,” says Captain Thomas Larsen. “With her responsive, agile manoeuvrability, safety and technical capabilities, this vessel is akin to driving a finely tuned German-built elite sports car such as a Porsche. Combined with the programs and features that will bring the journeys to life, Crystal Endeavor represents the pinnacle of luxury expedition cruising and I look forward to exploring the world with her and our valued guests.”

With two helicopters, a submersible and aft marina among her arsenal, Crystal Endeavor presents the perfect expedition yacht for guests to closely experience the Arctic and Antarctic. The jaw-dropping project firmly cements TDoS’ reputation for delivering exceptional new experiences at sea, re-interpreting the relationship between luxury and adventure.

“It has been a great pleasure for the TDoS team to be part of the Genting & Crystal teams in the development of Crystal Endeavor and we hope for a great success in the future for Crystal Cruises and their guests,” says TDoS Project Manager Christer Hagen.
