Sixth 36m Mulder ThirtySix SEAFLOWER Delivered
Following successful completion of her sea trials, Mulder's 36m motor yacht SEAFLOWER has been delivered to her owners. She will make her debut at the 2023 Monaco Yacht Show, showcasing the success of the ThirtySix model, as well as taking pride in being the first of the series built to strict tier 3 environmental requirements.
SEAFLOWER is the sixth yacht of the award-winning Mulder ThirtySix series. The success of this series lies in a bespoke modern exterior, custom built interiors, and a comfortable, as well as economic, sailing experience; with a Fast Displacement hull form and a gross tonnage of just below 300.
Setting SEAFLOWER apart from her five predecessors, and setting the precedent for future vessels of this successful series, she is the first ThirtySix built to tier 3 requirements, adhering to the strictest environmental regulations to date. This is significant in the future of the yachting industry in general, as well for the ThirtySix and Mulder.
Boasting timeless elegance, Vickers Studio has penned the spectacular exterior and interior designs. She has a five-stateroom layout, featuring an owner’s suite located on the main deck, complete with a dressing area and private study. The master cabin has large windows offering amazing views as well as an ensuite shower. The luxury of the master suite extends to the twin and double cabins, which also have their own ensuites.
The owner’s needs have been met superbly in SEAFLOWER’S timeless interior design. Deep cut pile patterned carpets are featured throughout the yachts, as well as white washed oak with brass trims and complementary fabric wall panels. The sophisticated, timeless feel of her design is complimented by striking modern fabrics in eye-catching colours on the feature wall in her spacious dining room.
Mirroring the comfort present in her sailing experience, SEAFLOWER offers ample relaxation space on her main deck aft and her sundeck. The main deck aft includes two dining tables and sofas for shaded dining close to the water, and her sundeck features an additional dining area and space for outdoor entertaining. These comfortable, vast spaces offer great amounts of sociability on board, making SEAFLOWER the perfect vessel for relaxation, as well as entertainment.
Her bow area is the ultimate relaxing location, with a large sofa and sunbeds contributing to the comfortable feel of the yacht. A folding balcony on the starboard side, as well as a large beach club, maintains the guests’ connection to the water, making the most of the environment that SEAFLOWER will be sailing in.
SEAFLOWER has excellent performance prospects; she is an all-aluminium yacht equipped with twin Caterpillar C18 engines with 1150HP at 2300 rpm, allowing her to reach a top speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots.
Superyachts.com would like to congratulate Mulder on SEAFLOWER'S successful delivery, and are looking forward to seeing her debut at the Monaco Yacht Show.
