Sixth Amels 242 Superyacht 'Project Shadow' Sold

The Amels 242 range has enjoyed great success with six superyachts commissioned so far - well-known deliveries including M/Y PLVS VLTRA and M/Y NEW SECRET. Known for its sophisticated Tim Heywood exterior design and high degree of customizability, the Amels 242 is a pedigree example of what the yard’s Limited Editions range can achieve. 

The Owners of ‘Project Shadow’ have been highly involved in customising the superyacht to their specific requirements, and the dedicated team at Amels and Damen Yachting have welcomed the challenge to achieve this in time for Autumn. Damen Yachting Managing Director Rose Damen commented:

‘Project Shadow’ will feature a dedicated Owners Deck with foredeck jacuzzi, an increased capacity helideck and is set to meet the latest IMO Tier III clean emissions standards. The superyacht consolidates the successful partnership between Amels and Moran Yacht & Ship, marking the second 60m+ Amels yacht sold by the brokerage in the past 12 months. Moran Yacht & Ship also wrote the technical specifications and will supervise the entire build of 'Project Shadow' ahead of her imminent delivery.
