SOLD: 75m Abeking and Rasmussen M/Y 'Elandess'

Launched in 2018, Elandess is a custom superyacht built by Abeking & Rasmussen. 

Following the success of Abeking's highly futuristic Aviva, Elandess was destinated to ooze new-modern. From the sub-waterline and aptly named ‘Nemo’ Lounge inspired by Feadship's Savannah, to the 8-metre sapphire swimming pool on the expansive sun-deck, the yacht’s sporty angles and contemporary appeal has opened up her interiors to make a dream, reality. 

The Neptune Lounge is by far her greatest highlight. It is part grotto, part submarine and part amphitheatre, with a stunning three-metre-high ceiling complimented by a wall of near full-height glass, one third of it below the waterline, with blue painted floors harmonising with the colour of the ceiling and seating.

The room is considered a complete show-stopper for those venturing on board, granting them an entirely new perspective of the cruising grounds they plan to explore.

Her previous owners commissioned Harrison Eidsgarrd to produce the masterpiece with the intention of bringing their exacting visions to life. Penned by Pedar Eidsgaard himself, who hails 22 years’ experience in yacht design, both the interiors and exteriors of Elandess were set to be unique.

With a brief set out to bring modernity and spaciousness for the ultimate lounging landscape, Elandess’ length allowed the design studio to experiment with communal spaces and create an array of entertaining areas.

In terms of performance, Elandess is equipped with twin Caterpillar engines that provide her with a top speed of 16 knots and cruising speed of 14.5 knots. At the time of her sale, Elandess had a last known asking price of €130,000,000.
