SOLD: Bernard Gallay Reveal Sale of 37m S/Y RADIANCE
The 37m Radiance has been sold with Tim Carbury at Fraser Palma representing the seller and Bernard Gallay from Bernard Gallay Yacht Brokerage introducing the buyer.
She was first delivered in 2010 as a fast cruiser/racer and underwent a major refit in 2019. Built in aluminium by Dutch shipyard Bayards in collaboration with designer Dubois Naval Architects, Radiance is a true oceangoing sailing yacht.
Boasting a sloop rigging, she has since been optimised for simple sailing, allowing her first owner to sail around the world with only two crew members, and her second owner to venture from the Pacific Islands to the Mediterranean sea with comfort and ease.
In terms of accommodation, Radiance can host up to eight guests across four ample, comfortable cabins, as well as a full-beam master suite. Each cabin offers en suite shower facilities, with her overall interior bearing Southeast Asian influences throughout. She also accommodates up to five crew members.
Her two teak decks include a raised saloon and a fixed bimini top over the spacious cockpit, which has mechanically operated sliding windows. She also provides a generous amount of stowage space and a fold-down bathing platform forward of the mast.
Radiance has a fixed keel and is fitted with a carbon mast, Oceanfurl boom and SCR airfoil carbon rigging from Hall Spars, along with 3D moulded lightweight sails provided by North Sails. She has a cruising speed of up to 12 knots.
