SOLD: Iconic 78m Abeking & Rasmussen Superyacht AMARYLLIS
Moravia Yachting proudly announces the successful in-house sale of the striking 78.4-metre superyacht AMARYLLIS, a superyacht that continues to captivate the global yachting community with its timeless elegance and refined design. Built by the prestigious German shipyard Abeking & Rasmussen in 2011 and designed by the celebrated Raymond Langton, Amaryllis is a floating masterpiece inspired by the grandeur of the Art Nouveau, Art Deco, and Belle Époque eras.
This magnificent yacht offers a luxurious blend of classic style and modern comforts, featuring expansive interiors that include a grand main saloon on the main deck, a charming piano lounge bar, a formal dining room located on the upper deck, and a serene sky lounge on the bridge deck. Every detail of her design speaks to exceptional craftsmanship, with sweeping Art Deco curves and bespoke finishes that create an inviting atmosphere bathed in sophistication.
AMARYLLIS comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests across six beautifully appointed cabins, supported by a professional crew of 23 ready to deliver impeccable service. The yacht is as impressive in performance as she is in luxury. Her steel hull and aluminum superstructure are powered by twin Caterpillar engines that deliver a cruising speed of 14 knots and a maximum speed of 16 knots, ensuring smooth and capable voyages across the world’s oceans.
Onboard, guests can indulge in a private wellness spa, complete with a massage room, spa pool, beauty salon, and a fully equipped gym, offering the ultimate retreat after days spent exploring breathtaking destinations. Entertainment is equally considered, with an intimate onboard cinema providing a perfect space for relaxing evenings. The generously sized beach club at sea level grants easy access to a collection of water toys and tenders, creating an ideal environment for both relaxation and adventure on the water.
Throughout the yacht, rare materials such as exquisite marbles, exotic woods, and unique art pieces complement the visionary design, imbuing every space with a story and a sense of timeless luxury. As a result, AMARYLLIS has earned admiration not only for her visual impact and comfort but also for her ability to seamlessly combine powerful presence with the peaceful experience expected of a world-class superyacht.
Adam Papadakis, Moravia Yachting’s Head of Sales, was instrumental in this sale, remarking, 'Placing AMARYLLIS in the hands of her next owner was a proud moment. It was the result of long-standing relationships and direct, focused work from start to finish. It’s proof that timing, trust, and deep market knowledge still define success at the top end of yachting.'
Despite this change of ownership, AMARYLLIS will remain available for charter, managed by Hill Robinson, allowing discerning guests to continue enjoying her elegance and exceptional offerings on unforgettable voyages.
