By Heather Collier

IYC has announced the successful sale of 183' 9" / 56m M/Y Benetti GENESIS in an in-house deal, with Michel Chryssicopoulos introducing the buyer and Richard Gray representing the seller.

Genesis, previously named Genesis II, is an impressive vessel from Italian shipyard Benetti, sold recently by IYC in Hong Kong.

Delivered in 2015 from Benetti's Livorno shipyard, she can accommodate and host up to 16 guests across eight cabins with a crew of 13. Her stylish interior and naval architecture were both expertly penned by Benetti’s in-house team.

In terms of range and performance, she is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 4000 M53R) 1,876hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 15 knots, reaching a maximum speed of 15 knots.

She features at-anchor stabilizers providing exceptional comfort levels, and water tanks that store around 30,000 litres of fresh water.

GENESIS was asking €33,000,000 during her time on the market.
