Tankoa Yachts Announces Sale of First TX450 Explorer
Italian shipyard Tankoa Yachts has announced the sale of the first unit of the highly anticipated 45m TX450 explorer superyacht. Developed around the yard’s previous T450 concept designed by Giorgio Cassetta, this brand-new TX450 model has evolved into a full-custom explorer yacht, also designed by the recognised Italian designer. Currently in her final engineering stage, construction of the first TX450 is scheduled to begin shortly, with her delivery expected in the Spring of 2025.
Boasting clean lines, a graceful profile, and bearing a satisfying resemblance to the original popular T450 concept, Giorgio Cassetta has once again created a visual masterpiece in partnership with Tankoa Yachts. Designing both the interior and the exterior of the new TX450, Cassetta has combined Tankoa's signature design DNA with refined Italian excellence.
Tankoa’s Sales and Business Development Manager, Claudio Corvino, commented on the new explorer design: ‘The concept of the yacht was developed around the idea of exploring the world in comfort and Cassetta up came with a very balanced design that we define as a crossover style, matching perfectly the proportions of an explorer with the elegant touch typical of all Tankoa yachts. The yacht was really designed in cooperation with her discerning owner, who has been involved in all the details of the exterior and interior design from day one.’
Alongside her sophisticated profile, the new TX450 explorer offers a unique interior layout rarely seen in a yacht of this size.
A four-deck configuration places all four guest cabins on the main deck, providing an exclusive experience for charter guests and owners alike. A generously proportioned master stateroom is also located on the main deck, ensuring unrivalled comfort for her owner.
The upper and bridge decks are dedicated to social areas, offering vast amounts of space for both relaxation and entertainment. Additionally, the interior features a state-of-the-art gym, a luxurious spa area, and a convertible room that can be utilised as an extra guest cabin if required.
Boasting exceptional exterior social areas on every deck, two pools, including a sea-level pool at the stern which is surrounded by two opening side platforms, as well as a beach club that spans three levels, the TX450 promises an extraordinary experience onboard.
With renders yet to be revealed, we are looking forward to seeing the first TX450 in all her glory as she is soon to begin her build.
Tankoa Yachts is currently overseeing the construction of eight other exciting projects, including two S501s, two T450s, two T55 Sportiva vessels, a T580 Custom, and the Tankoa Vitruvius 52.
